So I was doing my "spring-cleaning" in June recently, and came across a few of my old photographs I used to take, as I was going through them, it was so inspiring and at the same time I missed those days, so I painted them.
Sadly, I don't really know their exact name or the botanical species they belong to. But I remember someone from the native telling me it stays fresh for at least 6 months without dying out. But I've seen them last longer than that, I used to find them blooming in all sorts of places in the hills. They were so small and light, felt like they were made out of paper, smelled murky, back in college I used to do these little things and make tiny bunches tied together with dried grass and give it to people sitting next to me while hanging out talking', just like that. Now that I think about it, these were my favorite kind of flowers, didn't really realize until now!
